Elongation Techniques and Surgery Selection

Professor Kurbatov uses several techniques for penis elongation. The choice of surgery depends on anatomy, initial situation, indications, and expected results.

Primary technique

Modified Ligamentotomy

Primary surgical elongation technique

The surgical principle is based on the transection of the suspensory ligament of the cavernous bodies with subsequent skin plasty and deepening of the skin angle at the penile base. Professor uses a modified technique that allows achieving elongation not only at rest, but also in erection.

The surgery involves transection of the suspensory and fundiform ligaments through an access at the penile base. After ligament transection, a closed cavity forms, which the professor recommends filling with material to prevent re-adhesion of the cavernous bodies to the pubic bone.

The surgery includes a mandatory skin plasty stage with deepening of the angle between the penile base and pubis, with tissue fixation to the pubic bone. This immediately achieves permanent elongation both at rest and in erection in the range of 1.5–3 cm (result depends on anatomy). The change in erection angle is minimal.

Use of an extender/stretcher in the postoperative period is not required.
