Surgical Principle and Implant

Currently, the main methods for penile thickening are subcutaneous injections of hyaluronic acid or polylactic acid. However, these techniques have unpredictable and short-lasting results due to resorption of the introduced graft, accompanied by an unaesthetic effect.

In Professor Kurbatov's opinion, the optimal technology for penile thickening is surgery to place a synthetic implant made of soft medical silicone under the skin of the organ. This approach allows predictable girth increase while maintaining the natural appearance of the organ. This technique is already widely used abroad and is gradually being implemented in Russia.

Domestic Implant

Professor Kurbatov and his colleagues developed a domestic implant made of medical-grade silicone, which has passed all toxicological tests and holds a certificate of conformity.

How the Surgery Is Performed

The implant is placed under the penile skin along the cavernous bodies through a circumferential skin incision around the glans. After skin mobilization, the implant is fixed and modeled according to the shape and size of the organ, then the skin is returned to its position and the incision edges are sutured.

What to Consider

For the best aesthetic result, circumcision is recommended. Average surgery duration is about 1 hour, hospital stay — 1 day.

The results of the first surgical series were presented at the Congress of the Eurasian Association of Urologists (Moscow, May 2026): 10 surgeries, girth gain of 3.2–5 cm, follow-up of up to 12 months with no recorded complications — no implant displacement, infection, or impairment of erection and sensitivity.

I am extremely satisfied with the result of this surgery.
